Strabane Walk to End Violence Against Women and Girls
Strabane is taking a stand to end violence against women and girls, and we invite you to join us for a meaningful walk to show your support!

📍 Meeting Point: Melvin Sports Complex
🕝 Doors Open: 2:30 PM | Walk Begins: 3:00 PM
The Walk Route:
The walk will leave Melvin Sports Complex, cross the Strabane Bridge, travel down Market Street, turn left onto Railway Street and turn left again at the Asda Roundabout. It will turn left up Bradley Way, Bridge Street, cross Strabane Bridge again, right onto Meetinghouse Street and across the Footbridge returning to Melvin Sports Complex. (Total: 2 miles – feel free to join at any point!)
Important Information:
👟 Dress for the weather! Wear comfy shoes and bring an umbrella or sunglasses as needed.
🚗 Parking is limited at Melvin—consider using town centre car parks.
🦺 Follow our stewards for a safe and smooth experience.
⛑️ First Aiders will be available—let a steward know if you need help.
🍵 Refreshments await at the finish line! Keep moving and enjoy a chat at Melvin.
👶 Children welcome! Keep them close and leave bikes/skates at home.
🐶 Dogs on leashes only—please clean up after them.
