Fuel Stamp Scheme
Across Derry City & Strabane District Council area a fuel stamp saving scheme is delivered by Strabane Community Project, funded by the Public Health Agency and supported by Derry City & Strabane District Council which encourages participants to save for the colder months to ensure warm homes and encourage budgeting.
You can buy oil stamps from participating retailers, collect them on a savings card and use the value of the stamps to pay for all or part of your oil when placing an order with suppliers signed up to the scheme. Please check in advance with your supplier if they participate in the scheme.
Neither Strabane Community Project nor Derry City & Strabane District Council will be liable for oil stamps or oil stamp cards which are lost or stolen. Once oil stamps have been sold they are non-refundable from stamp outlets. Customers should ensure that they keep their stamp card in a safe, secure location.
The scheme is available throughout the Derry City and Strabane District Council area and any new retailers or oil companies from across the council area who would like to take part in the scheme should contact Strabane Community Project by telephoning 028 7188 3102 or e-mail [email protected] to register their interest.
