What is Figment Ceramics?

Figment Ceramics specialises in making relief, highly textured, ceramic panels. Ceramicist, Jakki Trainor, draws inspiration from a love of nature and folklore, producing illustrative ceramics that depict both real and imagined flora and fauna that aim to engage the viewer in unravelling the narrative. In her ongoing work, Jakki explores her local environment of South Down, while continuing to take inspiration from ceramic techniques from across the globe and throughout time. 

What will Figment Ceramics be providing at the Guildhall Craft Fair 2024?

Figment Ceramics will be showcasing two ranges of work at the Guildhall Craft Fair. Jakki will be exhibiting her iconic range of glazed, textural ceramic panels featuring flora and fauna imagery. Alongside, her newest range of striking monotone Sgraffito creations. Either range offers customers beautiful original artworks to decorate their homes.
