Séan Coyle is from the Brandywell area of Derry. He has established himself as a
writer/director and editor, who has worked with both BBC and ITV. Sean was recently
nominated for an RTS Television Award for his filming/editing work on The White
Handkerchief. His own filmmaking work has won numerous awards, in Ireland and
internationally, with his films being showcased at prestigious festivals such as Belfast
Film Festival, Foyle Film Festival, IndieCork, Newport Beach and Docs Ireland.
The Film.
Lighting and Editing workshops are for artists of all disciplines (painters,
sculptors, film-makers, musicians & performers). These workshops will show
participants how to document, light and edit their own work for whatever purpose it
may be required: show reels, short film, website, exhibition, etc., Workshops are
geared to any artist, whatever equipment they may have or plan to use. Whether that
is a top of range film camera, a video hand cam or smart phone. Equipment will also
be available to use at the workshops.
