Derry's favourite Circus and Street Arts festival, produced by local legends 'In Your Space Circus' is BACK and this year they're dropping anchor at Foyle Maritime Festival 2024… for one year only! In Your Space Circus (IYSC) has gathered up a boatload of circus chaos and will be taking over McFarland Quay from 27th to 30th June with some INCREDIBLE circus treats! Expect astounding acrobatics, shoreside silliness, circus, spectacle, and the biggest beach-ball you've ever laid your eyes on! In Your Space Circus (IYSC) has gathered up a boatload of circus chaos and will be taking over McFarland Quay from 27th to 30th June with some INCREDIBLE circus treats!
Expect astounding acrobatics, shoreside silliness, circus, spectacle, and the biggest beach-ball you've ever laid your eyes on! And as an extra special treat, In Your Space Circus have teamed up with Foyle Maritime Festival to bring the inimitable No Fit State to our lovely shores with the Irish Premiere of their new show – Bamboo.
Expect a spectacular high-impact, high-skill outdoor circus production using only bamboo and human bodies!
And on top of all that… the Youth Circus stars of tomorrow from Circusful (Belfast), Galway Community Circus and IYSC will showcase their incredible talents (and show us grownups how it's done)!
You can also expect some of IYSC's best -loved aquatic acts bringing synchronised swimming, sailor singing, mermaid bubbling mayhem to the quay! You lucky rubber duckys!
And make sure to stop by the 'Baby Top Boardwalk' to try your hand at circus skills, get your face painted (mine's a mermaid please) or join the 'Jellyfish Jam' disco!
What can we say… it's gonna be all hands on deck!
